 Pasca menyandang status sebagai istri Irwan Mussry, Maia Estianty mulai membuatkan cerita.

Diceritakan, momen pernikahannya diwarnai tangis dari orangtuanya. Bahkan, prosesi komitmen nikah sempat harus diulang.

Sebab, sang ayah tak kuasa menahan tangis sebelum selesai membacakan bacaan ijab.

“Pada ketika ijab kabul, tangisan ayahku sebelum selesai membaca bacaan ijab, pecah seada-adanya hingga kira2 10 menit, sehingga prosesi komitmen nikah harus diulang oleh ayah yang kesannya tenang,” ujarnya.

Maia mengatakan, dirinya berpikir ayahnya yaitu sosok yang kuat. Pasalnya, ia tidak pernah melihat sang ayah menangis.

“Aku pikir ayahku yaitu lelaki terkuat yang pernah ada, alasannya saya tidak pernah melihat ia menangis, ternyata mengantar melepas anak perempuannya, ia tidak mampu menahan tangis haru nya, diikuti lalu tangisan ibuku dan ketiga anakku serta saudara2 yang datang,” paparnya.

Maia pun mengucapkan terima kasih dan sayangnya kepada kedua orangtuanya.

“Tak lupa kuucapkan terimakasih kepada kedua orang tuaku @harjonosigit dan @kusthini_hs yang sudah bertahun2 mendoakan saya hingga kesannya saya dapat melangkah menuju chapter yang gres dengan selamat,” ucapnya.

“I LOVE YOU Bapak dan Ibu. You are the best parents in the world,” sambungnya.
