Pada hari Kamis (1/11), Panglima Tentara Nasional Indonesia Marsekal Hadi Tjahjanto telah melantik 775 Prajurit dan Bhayangkara Taruna lainnya di Stadion Sapta Marga. Salah satunya yaitu Imron Ichwani, anak tukang bubur dari Purbalingga.

Warga Jalan Cempaka RT 03/06 Desa Selabaya, Kecamatan Kalimanah, Kabupaten Purbalingga ini mengaku sudah bercita-cita menjadi Taruna Akmil semenjak kecil.

"Keinginan tersebut semakin kuat, ketika ada sosialisasi di sekolah dari Ajenrem 071 Wijayakusuma. Kemudian pribadi daftar dan Alhamdulillah lolos dari mulai tahap kawasan hingga dengan pusat," terang Imron.

Imron yaitu anak ketiga dari enam bersaudara dan tinggal bersama di sebuah rumah berukuran sederhana. Ayahnya yang merupakan penjual bubur menghidupi keluarga dari hasil berjualan bubur sekitar Rp 50 ribu per hari.

Demi memperbaiki taraf hidup keluarga dan meraih cita-cita, Imron pun bertekad mewujudkan impiannya semenjak kecil tersebut. "Saya berusaha berguru dengan keras biar mewujudkan harapan tersebut, dan Alhamdulillah semasa Sekolah Menengan Atas masuk di Sekolah Menengan Atas 1 Purwokerto serta ketika ikut seleksi sentra masuk dalam kelompok calon unggulan," terperinci Imron.

Saat SMA, Imron yaitu siswa berprestasi. Dia mendapat nilai 10 pada UN Matematika, dan juga pernah mengikuti olimpiade matematika tingkat Provinsi. Sayangnya, ketika peresmian tersebut, ayahnya tidak dapat hadir sebab sedang diopname akhir penyakit hepatitis.

"Bapak tidak dapat ikut sebab sakit hepatitis, sehingga tinggal di rumah. Tadi kita berangkat bersama nenek, ibu dan Om Bowo serta saudara naik kendaraan beroda empat charteran," tutur Rudi, abang dari Imron.

Namun, beliau tidak mempermasalahkan hal itu. Baginya, seluruh keluarga berbahagia sebab Imron telah meraih cita-citanya dan semoga dapat menjadi pujian keluarga.
